    Our liquid-cooled load banks are available in capacities ranging from 30 kW to 500 kW and can be scaled and combined to meet the requirements of your infrastructure. Compatible with both pure water and glycol, they ensure temperature control accuracy of ±0.5°C for reliable and reproducible test results.

  • Resistive load banks

    Resistive load bank: How does it work?
     
    A resistive load bank converts electrical energy into heat via resistors, thereby simulating a purely active load. This is the industry-standard solution for testing equipment with a predominantly resistive load: generators, UPS systems, and backup power supplies. Easier to implement than a resistive-reactive bench, it meets the vast majority of testing needs in industrial and commercial settings.

    Delta-Resistel resistive load banks are used at three key stages: during commissioning to verify the actual performance of the equipment; during routine maintenance to ensure that generators and UPS systems can handle their rated load; and at the factory for acceptance testing prior to delivery.

  • Resistive/Reactive Container Load Banks

    Resistive, reactive: what’s the difference?
    A resistive load bank simulates a purely active load and covers most common tests. However, in reality, most industrial electrical systems combine active and inductive loads: motors, transformers, and variable-speed drives. A resistive test bench alone cannot reproduce these conditions. The resistive-reactive test bench adds the inductive component to test under variable power factors, as closely as possible to the actual operating conditions the equipment will experience.

    Our resistive-reactive test benches are available in containerized formats for projects that require them. Self-contained and portable, they can be installed directly on-site without the need for dedicated infrastructure, making them ideal for construction sites, remote locations, or temporary installations. The container protects the equipment from outdoor conditions and allows for quick deployment, no matter where your installation is located.
